Meeting Minutes of May 27, 2004 Conference Call

Robert Payne called the meeting to order at
Roger Hales summarized the situation
regarding social work applicant SWO-25188.
Carolyn Burt-Patterson moved that the Board
issue a license to applicant SWOA-25188 with a probationary period of 2 years
that requires taking two separate ethics courses that are 4 hours each for each
year of probation, specifically dealing in boundary issues. This is above the required continuing education for renewal. Submit
written reports every six months regarding nature of practice and any other
issues of concerns. No second and motion died.
Ms. Powers moved to enter executive session
to discuss possible litigation exempt from public disclosure. Ms. Burt-Patterson seconded and the motion carried.
Ms. Powers moved to enter regular session.
Ms. Burt-Patterson seconded and the motion carried.
Ms. Burt-Patterson moved that the Board
issue a license to applicant SWOA-25188 with a probationary period of 2 years,
that applicant take two separate ethics courses of not less than 4 hours each
for each year of probation and specifically dealing in boundary issues, and that
said courses to be in addition to the annually required continuing education,
and that applicant submit a written report every six months from the date of
licensure regarding the nature of the applicant’s practice and any other
issues or concerns, and that applicant abide by the laws and rules that govern
the practice of social work. Ms.
Powers seconded and the motion carried.
Ms. Burt-Patterson moved to adjourn at 9:45
