Meeting was called to order at 1:35 MDT by Andrew J Seitz.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Bell moved to approve the minutes of May 8, 2008. Ms. O’Donnell seconded the motion, and it carried.
Ms. Magnelli presented the Recommended Action on Disciplinary Complaints to the Board:
SHS-2005-1 Ms. O’Donnell moved to approve the recommendation to negotiate a consent order with Respondent to pay $500 in costs. Mr. Peterson seconded the motion and it carried.
SHS-2005-2 Mr. Bell moved to accept the recommendation of the Attorney General’s Office to close the file. Ms. O’Donnell seconded the motion, and it carried.
SHS-2006-3 Ms. Mecier moved to authorize the Attorney General’s Office issue a warning letter. Ms. O’Donnell seconded the motion, and it carried.
SHS-2006-4 Mr. Bell moved to accept the recommendation to authorize the Attorney General’s office negotiate a consent order, fine of $500, and fees recovery of $850. Mr. Peterson seconded the motion, and it carried.
Discussion was held on Idaho’s definitions for Aides and Assistants, and the information was to be posted on the web site. Because Medicare has ruled that only Speech Language Pathologists can bill for services, the posting to the web site is not needed. Ms. Huylar moved to not post the information on the web site. Ms. O’Donnell seconded the motion, and it carried.
Ms. O’Donnell moved to go into executive session for review of applications per Idaho Code 67-2345 (1) (d) and potential litigation per Idaho Code 67-2345 (1) (f). Ms. Mecier seconded the motion. Aye votes: Mr. Peterson, Mr. Bell, Ms. Mecier, Ms. O’Donnell, Ms. Huylar, and Ms. Allen. Nay Votes: None. Motion carried.
Mr. Peterson moved to come out of executive session. Ms. Allen seconded the motion. Aye votes: Mr. Peterson, Mr. Bell, Ms. Mecier, Ms. O’Donnell, Ms. Huylar, and Ms. Allen. Nay Votes: None. Motion carried.
Mr. Peterson moved to issue a conditional license to Donald Raymond Deardorff, HA-1605. The conditions are that through 2009 he is to file quarterly reports, and all advertising is to be pre-approved by the Board. Mr. Bell seconded the motion, and it carried.
Ms. Huylar moved to have the Bureau send a letter to applicant 901091362 to advise him what is needed to complete the licensure process. Ms. Mecier seconded the motion, and it carried.
Ms. O’Donnell moved to forward a letter to applicant 901095157 about when an apprenticeship started and when the provisional permit was issued to the investigative unit. Ms. Allen seconded, and the motion carried.

Discussion was held on the new check sheets for application files. Corrections were made to the check sheets.
Discussion was held on the best method of getting the Board members the information before a conference call. Ms. Allen needs the check sheets faxed to her. Ms. Mecier would like the check sheets sent by e-mail to her home and work and add copies sent to the work address as well.
The next meeting is a conference call scheduled for Monday, July 28th at 1:30 p.m. MDT.
Ms. O’Donnell moved to adjourn the meeting at 2:30p.m. Mr. Peterson seconded the motion, and it carried.
