Minutes of August 4, 2005



The Idaho Board of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Safety conference call was called to order at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, August 4, 2005 at the Bureau of Occupational Licenses, Owyhee Plaza, 1109 Main Street, Suite 220, Boise, Idaho.



Board members participating in the call:  Gary Van Hees, Chair,
                                                                         Kevin Keller
                                                                         Mike Warner


Board members absent were:         Shane Walker

                                                             Jake Lehman


Bureau staff:              Rayola Jacobsen, Bureau Chief

                                    Roger Hales, Administrative Attorney

                                    Mary Miles, Technical Records Specialist I


Mr. Hales presented proposed rule changes.  Motion made by Kevin Keller to adopt the rules as follows:

010.04 - Definition of “Facility” added.

175.03 – Changed to read as follows. Original Facility with 10,000 gallons or less storage capacity – Fifty dollars ($50).

350.03 – Changed to read 350.02.


Seconded by Mike Warner, all in favor.


A question was asked regarding who needs to be licensed first the Dealer or the Facility.   LPG Laws Reference [54-5308] 54-5108. (d) Reads as follows: That the applicant has at least one (1) dealer licensed under this chapter who is a resident of the state of Idaho and who is, and will be, responsible for the operation of the facility.


The next meeting of the Board will be August 22, 2005, 9:00 a.m.  The Conference call adjourned at 2:45 p.m.
