Chairman Dial called the meeting to order at 9:03a.m.
Fred Ogram was welcomed to the Board.
Mr. Thomas moved to go into executive session for review of applications per Idaho Code 67-2345(d). Mr. Ogram seconded the motion. Aye votes: Mr. Ogram and Mr. Dial, motion carried. Nay votes: None.
Mr. Ogram moved to come out of executive session. Mr. Thomas seconded. Aye votes:
Mr. Ogram and Mr. Thomas, motion carried.
Mr. Ogram moved to deny licensure at this time to applicant number 901096036 based upon the lack of UNE examination, or LARE examination score, or a current CLARB Council Record. If the applicant provides the CLARB Council Record prior to the April 23, 2008 meeting, the Board will review it again. Mr. Thomas seconded the motion, and it carried.
Mr. Thomas moved to approve the application for licensure for applicant number 901098695 pending receipt of proof of age. Mr. Ogram seconded the motion, and it carried.
REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION
An e-mail requesting information on curb and gutter stamping for the city of Ketchum was discussed. Mr. Hales is to reply with a copy of the standard plan stamping letter to the engineering firm and the city of Ketchum with a copy to the landscape architect.
An e-mail requesting information on being excluded from stamping final land plats for cemeteries was discussed. Mr. Hales will reply to the landscape architect.
BOARD MEETING DATE
For April 23, 2008 meeting agenda:
1. Expand the Endorsement Rule to include having documentation of passing the Uniform National Examination (UNE) score or the Landscape Architect Registration Examination (LARE) score or any CLARB based examinations or having the CLARB Council Record.
Mr. Ogram moved to send Mr. Thomas to the CLARB meeting in Indiana from February 29-March 1, 2008. Mr. Thomas seconded, and it carried.
Having no further business before them, Mr. Thomas moved to adjourn at 10a.m. Mr. Ogram seconded the motion, and it carried.
