NOTE: HVAC, Public Works, Plumbing, Electrical, and Construction Manager Contractors are required to be licensed with the  Division of Building Safety and need only register with the Idaho State Contractors Board if doing work outside that license. Fire Protection Sprinkler contractors are required to be licensed with the Department of Insurance State Fire Marshal and need only register with the Idaho State Contractors Board if doing work outside of that license. For those holding a Public Works or Construction Manager license, there are no fees for the initial registration or for the annual renewal. In order to apply and renew, the appropriate forms must be submitted with a copy of the current Public Works or Construction Manager license.

Please do not send insurance certificates unless you are applying for a registration, responding to an audit request or your registration has expired and you need to reinstate it. Insurance certificates received by this office that are not in response to an audit request or are not required for application or reinstatement will be destroyed.
