COUNSELOR AND CLINICAL MENTAL HEALTH
COUNSELOR EXAMINATION

The National Counselor Examination, (NCE) and the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination, (NCMHCE) is now offered via computer at various locations around the country through NBCC. The Idaho Licensure Examination Registration form must now be completed in order to register for the examination.

MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPY EXAMINATION

Marriage & Family Therapy NMFT Examination is held at a Prometric-Thomson Learning Center between:

You must submit the Intent to Sit for the National Marriage and Family Therapy Examination application, fee, and official transcripts showing the date the master's degree has been conferred at least two (2) weeks prior to the AMFTRB application deadline below for the exam which you are planning to take.

 A "Notification of Intent to Sit for Examination" form must be received for the Marriage & Family Therapy examination only, by the Board no less than 2 weeks before the date of the exam being requested.  If your form is NOT received by the deadline, you will be scheduled for the following exam date.
