AMATEUR WEIGHINS HELD ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT

GRASS ROOTS SELLING OF TICKETS
Discussion was held regarding ticket sales and accounting. Mr. Stoll stated that wrist bands provided for these venues are not being accounted for and he would like distribution of these to go through the will call window instead of the promoter.
The Commission will implement a better tracking system for ticket sales and if there is a discrepancy the promoterís license will be affected.
It was also stated the fighters are not to be selling tickets for fights they are not involved in and that amateurs are not to be paid.
STANDING ROOM ONLY TICKETS
Discussion was held regarding Rule 402 stating tickets are not to be issued for standing room only venues. This may pose a problem for some of the event locations. The Commission will look at a possibly removing this from its rules.
