MINUTES 

Virginia Dickman moved to approve the April 5, 1999 minutes.  Nancy Killinger seconded the motion, motion carried.  Mary Curran moved to approve the November 10, 1999 conference call minutes.  Kenneth Salzman seconded the motion, motion carried. 

FINANCE REPORT 

Thomas Limbaugh presented the finance report indicating a balance of $43,722.03 as of December 3, 1999. 

CONTRACT

Thomas Limbaugh presented the Board the Bureau and Board contract.  Virginia Dickman moved to approve the contract and authorize Kenneth Salzman to sign it on behalf of the Board.  Nancy Killinger seconded the motion, motion carried.

INVESTIGATIVE REPORT

John Kersey presented the Board a list of complaint files to be reviewed indicating recommended action.  Regarding complaint file SWO-P4B-04-99-003, the Board recommended that a consent order be prepared requiring the licensee to pay the investigative fees and attend four hours of CE on professional practice ethics.  These four hours will be in addition to the standard continuing education ethics requirement.  Documentation must be submitted upon completion.   

RULE CHANGES 

Jeanne Melton recommended to the Board several rule changes that the Clinical Society and NASW would like to see adopted.  Most of these changes would first require a law change.  It was also recommended that a change be made in the scope of practice for clinical social workers by adding marriage and family therapy. 

NEWSLETTER 

The Board worked on a newsletter that will be mailed out by the first of January.
