Director, Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyor; Dave High, Office
of the Attorney General; and David Koga, President, American Society of
Landscape Architects.
The meeting was called to
order at 9:35 a.m. by Chair, Dell Hatch.
Discussion was held on
the proposed legislation and concerns that have been brought to the Bureau.
The concern comes from language in 54-3002 (5).
Discussion was held on language that would more appropriate.
1.
Add to 54-3002(5)(a) after …planting plans, pedestrian and vehicular
circulation systems,.
2.
Delete from 54-3002(5) (e) after …design of, pedestrian and vehicle
transportation systems.
3.
Add to 54-3002(5)(a) after … related construction details but shall
not include the design of structures, or facilities with separate and
self-contained purposes for habitation or industry such as are ordinarily
included in the practice of engineering, land surveying, or architecture;
Moved by Ms. McGown that
amendments be approved as indicated. Seconded
by Mr. Dial, carried.
Moved by Mr. Dial that meeting be adjourned at 12:30 p.m.. Seconded by Ms. McGown, carried.
