Conference Call Minutes of May 3, 2002

 ROLL CALL:              Gregg Sturtevant, Chair; Mary McGown; Dell Hatch

BUREAU STAFF:       Rayola Jacobsen, Bureau Chief; Budd Hetrick, Deputy Bureau Chief; Marilyn London, Secretary

ALSO PRESENT:            Bill Dial, ASLA Member

Gregg Sturtevant called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.

NEW LICENSE RENEWAL DATE

The Board continued to discuss the new renewal date that is being considered by the Bureau.  Mary McGown moved that the Board would support the Bureau in changing the renewal date to the licensee’s birthday.  Dell Hatch seconded the motion and the motion carried.

LAW CHANGES

The Board discussed the definitions for landscape architect and exemptions.  The Board decided to use language from the CLARB model law and language from the Georgia Landscape Architect Board law exemptions. 

The meeting adjourned at 8:55 a.m.
