You may be asked to provide identifying information if you request confidential information from your Bureau record. We will make every effort to respond to your e-mail within the work day.

The faxed request for information is an optional way to contact the Bureau. Our response to your fax will be by either e-mail or the regular mail only. We will not respond by phone. Be sure to include a valid e-mail address and mailing address in your fax. We will be unable to respond to your request if that information is not included. We will make every effort to respond to your fax within 24 hours of its receipt.

Due to heavy call volume, our phone system will sometimes route calls to an automated answer system. If this happens, there is a directory you can use to reach the staff for the board you are interested in. If your call is routed to voicemail, please leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible. Please include your name, phone number and the reason for your call.
Where is the Bureau of Occupational Licenses?
Our office is located on the 2nd floor (Suite #220) of the Owyhee Plaza building at
1109 Main Street, in Boise.
If you are traveling West bound on Interstate 84, take the Broadway Avenue exit
or the Vista Avenue exit and travel NORTH towards downtown to Grove Street.
(Vista will merge with Capitol Boulevard.)
Turn left (WEST) on Grove Street (It's One-Way!), move to the right lane, and continue to 13th
Street (approximately 5 blocks).
Turn right (NORTH) on 13th Street and continue 2 blocks to Main Street.
Turn right (EAST) on Main Street.
The Owyhee Plaza building is on the right (SOUTH) side, between 11th and 12th Street.
Metered parking is available on the street. Please do not park in the private
parking lots, as unauthorized vehicles are regularly "booted" and
required to pay a fine to have the "boot" removed.
Enter the building using the entrance closest to 11th Street.
Elevators will take you to the 2nd floor where signs will direct you to the Bureau office.
