MEMORANDUM

Due to the passage of House Bill 552, the Environmental Health Specialist Examiner Licensure Act and it’s Board no longer exist. The State of Idaho no longer regulates EHSs. Increased costs, coupled with a slowly declining EHS membership, are largely responsible for these changes.

All previously issued Idaho EHS license are no longer be valid.  If you desire, or are required by your current job description, to maintain some form of credential, you should contact the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) regarding the Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) credential.
