CONFERENCE CALL MINUTES OF January 31, 2001
ROLL CALL: Frank Harris, Chairman; Al Lopez; Carla Wolfrum;
ABSENT/EXCUSED: Robert Skinner; Kay Youngerman
ALSO PRESENT: Roger Hales, Administrative Attorney; John Kersey, Chief Investigator; Janice Wiedrick, Secretary
Chairman Harris called the meeting to order at 10:00a.m.
The meeting was called for discussion of examination applicant files DEN101000GSB and DEN101600ECO.
The Board discussed its responsibilities regarding licensure and the examination process.
Roger Hales advised the Board of their mandate to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public.
Al Lopez moved to table the examination process until the April 6, 2001 meeting, and to request more information from the applicants concerning their logs of supervised practice in support of their applications, and to gather more information on the dentist in Oregon who supervised the applicants. Carla Wolfrum seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Having no further business before them, the meeting adjourned at 10:25a.m.
