Conference Call Minutes of May 16, 2007

The Idaho State Board of Denturitry meeting was called to order at 10:03 a.m.., Mountain Time, Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at the Bureau of Occupational Licenses, Owyhee Plaza, 1109 Main Street, Suite 220, Boise, Idaho.

Roll Call:     Rebecca Westerberg, Acting Chair

                   Roger Perotto, Board Member

                   Sylvia Boyle, Board Member

                   Richard Howell, Board Member

Bureau Staff:         Tana Cory, Bureau Chief

                             Roger Hales, Administrative Attorney

                             Marcie McGinty, Investigations Coordinator

Carla Wolfrum, Chair, absent, excused and recused from discussion and voting.

FORMAL DISCIPLINARY ACTION

The Board with its counsel Roger Hales discussed possible disciplinary action against Respondent George E. Devore.  After full discussion in open session the Board made the following motion.

Moved by Mr. Perotto to adopt the Hearing Officer’s Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law.  That the license issued to Mr. George Devore be revoked.  Mr. Devore shall pay a fine in the total amount of $4000 for each violation and pay the costs and attorney fees incurred as determined by the Bureau.  Seconded by Ms. Boyle, motion carried.

Moved by Mr. Perotto to have Roger Hales draft a Final Order for execution and to have Ms. Westerberg to sign the Order as acting chair on behalf of the Board.  Seconded by Ms. Boyle motion carried.
