MEMORANDUM

                SUBJECT:     Complaint Investigation Report   

 

Fiscal Year 2003: One complaint has been received to date. The complaint was investigated and closed without action (see note below).

Fiscal Year 2002: Four complaints were received. One was closed without action (see note below); two remain under investigation; one is ready for Board review.

Fiscal Year 2001: Three complaints were received. Two were closed without action and one is ready for Board review.

 

DEN-B1B-4-2003-1 - Complainant alleged that Respondent was employing unlicensed persons and allowing them to prepare impressions on clients.  Subsequent inspection revealed that respondent had family members working in the establishment, however, those individuals were only involved in reception and clean-up duties.  There was no evidence to support the allegations and the case was closed.

DEN-P3A-1-2002-1 - Complainant alleged that he paid respondent for a set of dentures and the respondent failed to deliver same. Bureau records noted that the respondent had failed to renew his license and it had been cancelled 07-01-2000.  Investigation revealed that the current address of respondent is unknown. Respondent's license has been flagged should he attempt to renew, and the case was closed pending further information.
