Meeting Minutes of July 14, 2004

The Idaho State Cosmetology Board meeting was called to order at 8:05 a.m., Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at the Bureau of Occupational Licenses, Owyhee Plaza, 1109 Main Street, Suite 220, Boise, Idaho.

Roll Call:         Christine Stutzke, Chair

                        Eric Negaard, Board Member

                        Joan (Joni) Huff, Board Member

 Bureau Staff:    Rayola Jacobsen, Bureau Chief

                            Kim Aksamit, Secretary

                            Marcie McGinty, Administrative Assistant

                            Carl Ericson, Administrative Attorney

                            Geneal Thompson, Board Member, absent, excused.

                            Linda Swope, Board Member, absent, excused.

Moved by Eric Negaard, seconded by Joan Huff and carried that the Board go into executive session to discuss possible litigation exempt from public disclosure.  The time being 8:10 a.m.

Moved by Joan Huff, seconded by Eric Negaard and carried that the Board come out of executive session.  The time being 8:15 a.m.

FORMAL DICSIPLINARY ACTION

COS-2004-23:  Moved by Eric Negaard, seconded by Joan Huff and carried to accept the Stipulation and Consent Order in the matter of New Images Academy, Inc., License No. CC-251.

 Case Nos. COS-2004-14, 16, & 17:  Carl Ericson, Administrative Attorney discussed and informed the Board that Isabelle Santi, License No. NT-222264, Owner of Boise Nails, License No. CS-5775 and Dung Le, License No. NT-221626 have appealed the Final Orders issued by the Board.  The Respondent’s attorney has filed an Order Governing Judicial Review in the Fourth Judicial District Court.
