Conference Call

November 13, 2000

2:30 p.m.

Conference call commenced at 2:30 p.m. Roll call: Christy Stutzke, Carol Martin, Patrick Ulsh, Kimber Hicks, Geneal Thompson. Bureau staff present: Tom Limbaugh, John Kersey, Carl Erickson, Helen Piippo.

Discussion as to letters received from The School of Hairstyling and ISU as to proposed Laws & Rules changes.

Mr. Hicks stated that the Idaho State School Association met on June 4, 2000 to discuss the Laws & Rules changes. This was put in the form of motion supporting the Boards action on proposing these Laws and Rules changes to the legislature.

Mr. Hicks made motion that letter be submitted to The School of Hairstyling and ISU regarding work permits and the nail technology program with a brief description as to why the board wishes to propose such legislation. Seconded by Ms. Martin. Motion carried.

Mr. Hicks made motion to proceed with proposed laws and rules changes, that the letters have been reviewed and these will be addressed through correspondence by the board.

Seconded by Mr. Ulsh. Motion carried.

Mr. Hicks made motion that on the day of examination that Board members will be paid the full day honorarium. Seconded by Ms. Martin. Discussion held. Motion carried.
