Conference Call

October 27, 2000

4:00 p.m.

Conference call commenced at 4:00 p.m. Roll call: Christy Stutzke, Carol Martin, Patrick Ulsh, Kimber Hicks, Geneal Thompson. Bureau staff present: Budd Hetrick, John Kersey, Carl Erickson, Helen Piippo.

The application for a change of location for Continental College was reviewed. Mr. Hicks reviewed with board the diagram of the location. Mr. Hicks recused self from remainder of conference call.

Mr. Erickson advised the Board regarding the requirements for schools. Mr Hetrick advised the Board that, according to standard BOL procedure, once confirmation was received that the required bond and training curriculum was in place, and an inspection was completed confirming compliance with all requirements, a license could be issued. He recommended that a confirmation letter from bonding agency, that the bond will remain in force at the new location, and that the curriculum will remain the same at the new location, be requested from Mr. Larry Hicks. The Bureau confirmed that an inspection could be done upon notification from Mr. Hicks and, once compliance was confirmed, a license could be issued.

Mr. Hetrick further noted that Mr. Hicks could increase the school floor space any time by submitting an updated floor plan.

Motion made by Mr. Ulsh to send a letter to Mr. Larry Hicks requesting a letter from the bonding company confirming that a bond would be in place at the new location, and a letter confirming that the required curriculum will be used at the new location and that, once compliance is confirmed by inspection, a license be issued. Seconded by Ms.

Martin. Motion carried.

Meeting was adjourned at 4:15 p.m.
