Board Meetings are held three times a year on the first Monday of February, June, and October, and at other times as determined by the Board. All meetings are held at the BOL office in Boise unless otherwise noted. Licensure examinations are held monthly. (Meeting & Exam Schedule)

The application deadline dates for the cosmetology, instructor, esthetics and electrology examinations are thirty (30) days before each examination date. Applicants will be scheduled for examination based on either the date an application is received by the IBOL or the date the application is postmarked, whichever is earlier.
