MEMORANDUM

                SUBJECT:           Complaint Investigation Report 

 

Fiscal Year 2003: 

    Fifty-two (52) complaints have been received to date.  

    Thirty-six (36) remain under investigation or legal review.    

Fiscal Year 2002:  

    Thirty-nine (39) complaints were received. 

    Eleven (11) remain under investigation or legal review.

Fiscal Year 2001. 

    Twenty-one (21) complaints were received. 

    One (1) remains under investigation or legal review.  

 

Those complaints closed since your last meetings are summarized below: 

COS-P1-03-03-27.     Alleged unlicensed practice. Respondent moved from another State and didn’t think Idaho required licensure. Respondent was advised of requirements and presented with a cease & desist letter.  Case closed.

 

COS-P4-02-02-76     Alleged unsanitary conditions. Inspection revealed appropriate sanitation measures were being followed and there was no evidence to support the allegations. Cased closed.

 

COS-P4B-01-02-78.     Alleged animals in salon. Inspection revealed that acceptable sanitation measures were being followed and there was no evidence to support the allegation. Case closed.

 

COS-B6A-01-02-84     Alleged unlicensed practice. Owner was allowing unlicensed practice in salon.  The witnesses moved out of State and a cease & desist letter was sent to the owner of the salon. Case was closed.

 

COS-P1-01-02-89.       Alleged unlicensed practice. Local County prosecutor was notified and declined to prosecute the respondent. A cease & desist letter was sent to the respondent. Case closed.
