Contractor Registration Renewal
Application to renew your
individual registration
must be made before your birth date each year in order for your registration to remain valid.
Application to renew an entity registration must be made before the anniversary
date of issue. You bear the total responsibility of insuring that a timely
renewal application is submitted.
The most efficient way to submit your renewal application and payment of fees is through the ONLINE renewal system. There are no additional fees for this service. NOTE: You must maintain current insurance in order to hold or renew a registration.
Registration
renewal
applications are mailed approximately six weeks before the registration expiration
date. This renewal notice is sent to your mailing address of record. If
you choose to renew by mail, the notice
MUST BE COMPLETED AND RETURNED WITH PAYMENT. If you do not receive a
renewal notice, you may contact the Bureau
to confirm your mailing address and have a duplicate notice sent to you. Failure
to receive a renewal form does not exempt you from the renewal requirement.
Do not wait until the last minute to request a duplicate.
When submitting your
renewal application to the Bureau office, you must include responses to all
questions, your social security number, your signature and the appropriate fee(s)
before the expiration of your registration. Do not send cash through the mail.
Returned checks will be subject to a $20.00 collection fee.
Continuing Education is not required to maintain a registration to practice as a contractor in Idaho.
