Conference Call Minutes of May 22, 2002

ROLL CALL:              Cher Stone, Chair; Leslie Thorson; Curtis Park

ALSO PRESENT:            Rayola Jacobsen, Bureau Chief; Roger Hales, Administrative Attorney; Marilyn London, Secretary

Cher Stone called the meeting to order at 12:30 p.m.

The Board discussed the letter received from Brad Perkins, a barber instructor, in support of one of his students at Continental College who has failed the theory portion of the examination for a second time. 

Curtis Park moved that the Bureau send a letter to Mr. Perkins stating the Board could not waive the 340 hours of required training.  Also to inform Mr. Perkins that the Board would review any proposal for the applicant to complete the 340 hours of training as required in the law for failing the exam for a second time.  Leslie Thorson seconded, and the motion carried. 

The meeting adjourned at 12:50 p.m.
