IDAHO STATE ATHLETIC COMMISSION

Meeting was called to order at 1:00 p.m.

Commissioner present: Tom Katsilometes

Others present:  Dan Huff Deputy Commissioner, Jim Grow Deputy Commissioner,  Tana Cory Bureau Chief, Kim Aksamit Board Secretary, Roger Hales Administrative Attorney, General Manning, Karl Klein Office of The Attorney General, Cleveland Corder Professional Fighters, Kasey Thompson Knockout Promotions, Sean Roberts Knockout Promotions, and Phil Whiting.

General Manning gave a presentation on the Responsibilities of Boards and Commissions.

Ms. Cory presented the financial and investigative reports.

Mr. Klein presented to the Commission a memorandum and the Commissioner agreed to the recommendations set forth in the memo.

Mr. Hales presented the new law to the commission.

Mr. Hales discussed looking into making some rule changes.

Phil Whiting addressed the Commission regarding funding for a non-profit amateur origination.

Mr. Hales addressed a letter from Patrick Nwamu requesting review of his bout and will draft a written decision from the Commissioner.

The Commissioner approved the minutes from May 10, 2006 and August 15, 2006.

The Commissioner appointed Dan Huff, Jon Vestal, and Jim Grow as Deputy Commissioners.
