Minutes of August 05, 2005

Conference Call

The meeting was called to order at 1:45 p.m. by Chair, Alan Giltzow. 

The board discussed proposed language to Idaho Statute #54-303, 54-305, 54-307, 54-308, 54-309 and 54-310, and proposed language to rule #350. 

Motion was made by Mr. Cole to approve proposed language to Statute #54-303, 54-305, 54-307, 54-308, 54-309 and 54-310, and proposed language to rule #350.  Seconded by Mr. Latham, carried. 

The board discussed the 6th tri-annual member board chair conference being held September 30-October 01, 2005.  It was noted that NCARB is covering expenses for this conference. 

Motion was made by Mr. Latham to approved sending Mr. Giltzow to the 6th tri-annual member board chair conference being held by NCARB.  Seconded by Mr. Cole, carried. 

The board discussed the annual newsletter.  Mr. Cole asked that all articles be sent to his office, and he will make sure they are put in the annual newsletter. 

A stipulation order for case #ARC-2004-1, was signed by respondent on 6/13/2005.  Stipulation order included a $1000.00 fine and $1462.00 cost and fees, 1-year probation, and license suspension for 10-days-withheld. 

Motion was made by Mr. Latham to accept the stipulation and consent order for case #ARE-2004-1.  Seconded by Mr. Cole, carried. 

Board asked that this disciplinary action be sent to NCARB. 

The next board meeting is scheduled for September 16, 2005 @ 9:00 a.m. in Sun Valley.  The meeting will be held in Mr. Latham’s office at 711 Washington Ave N, Ketchum, ID. 

The board asked that discussing sending someone from the Bureau to the NCARB meetings be added to the next board meeting agenda. 

Motion was made by Mr. Cole to adjourn the meeting at 2:15 p.m.  Seconded by Mr. Jensen, carried.
