Board Minutes of August 2, 2005

Chairman Hahn called the meeting to order at 9:13 a.m. mdt.

Discussion was held on submitting the proposed legislation dealing with licensure and requirements for certification.  The proposed legislation will be sent to interested parties for their comments and/or suggestions.  Mr. Hales explained to the Board that the licensing of Naturopathic Physicians may have changed the impact of the proposal.  Interested parties include:  Board of Nursing, Board of Dentistry, Board of Podiatry, and Board of Chiropractic Physicians.

Moved by Ms. Horsewood to submit the legislation to the interested parties for consideration this next session.  Seconded by Ms. Kuty, carried.

Discussion was held on scheduling the next meeting of the Board.  It was determined that the next meeting will be held October 14, 2005 beginning at 9:30 a.m.
