Acupuncture License & Certification Renewal
Application to renew your
license must be made before your birth date each year in order for your license
to remain valid. You bear the total responsibility of insuring that a timely
and complete renewal application is submitted. Failure to
submit a completed
application to renew your license before the expiration date
will result in the cancellation of your license.
NOTE: If you fail to renew
your license before the expiration date, your license WILL be canceled. Renewals
postmarked on or after the expiration date must include a $250.00 reinstatement
fee in addition to the regular renewal fee. The reinstatement fee is required by
§67-2614,
Idaho Code
and cannot be waived. All questions regarding the reinstatement
fee must be submitted by letter or e-mail. Phone calls regarding this matter
will NOT be returned.
The most efficient way to
submit your renewal application and payment of fees is through the
ONLINE
renewal system. There are no additional fees for this service.
Continuing Education
Continuing education is required in order to maintain a license to practice acupuncture in Idaho. A current and completed Verification & Certificate of Compliance form for continuing education MUST be submitted before a license will be renewed. The Board conducts regular continuing education audits to insure compliance with the requirement.
CE providers may request Board approval by submitting a completed Continued Education Approval Application.
