Subject: Complaint Investigative Report
FY2007: To date, one (1) complaint has been received, and it remains under investigation.
FY2006: One (1) complaint was received. That matter is awaiting Board determination.
FY2005: Five (5) complaints were received, all of which remain under investigation.
Complaint issues are as follows:
Unlicensed practice = 3
Advertising = 1
Misrepresentation = 1
Competency = 1
Training / Exam = 1
There are no pending disciplinary matters.
For Board determination:
ACU-B2-2-2006-1 C alleges that R is advertising acupuncture without the benefit of Idaho license. INV revealed that R is a "certified massage therapist" and identifies self as such. INV did not reveal evidence to support the allegations or violations. IBOL recommends the Board authorize closure.
